Digital rhetoric is the way we use words and pictures to communicate using digital technology like computers, phones, and the internet. When you text a friend something funny, that's a form of digital rhetoric. When you post on social media about something you care about, you are using digital rhetoric. Digital rhetoric is how we use digital technology to express our thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
