Technological convergence

Technological convergence is when different kinds of technology that used to do different things come together to do a single task. For example, your smartphone can do a lot of things that used to need different kinds of technology. It can take pictures, make phone calls, play music and videos, and even connect to the Internet. All of those things used to need different kinds of technology but now your smartphone can do them all.
