ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Electronics industry

The electronics industry makes all sorts of cool gadgets that we use every day, like phones, computers, tablets, and TVs. These gadgets have lots of tiny parts that work together to make them do different things.

The main parts of electronic gadgets are called components. We can use these components to build all sorts of things, like circuits. A circuit is a path for electricity to flow through.

Electricity is like water that flows through a pipe. Just like we can use pipes to control the flow of water, we can use components to control the flow of electricity.

In order to make all these gadgets, people who work in the electronics industry use something called a manufacturing process. This means they take the different components and put them together to make a finished product.

Sometimes, people design new components and gadgets that nobody has ever seen before. These people are called engineers, and they use their creativity and knowledge about electronics to come up with new ideas.

Overall, the electronics industry is all about using electricity and tiny components to make amazing gadgets that help us communicate, stay informed, and have fun!
