Estray

Okay kiddo, so let me explain what an "estray" means.

Sometimes, animals like cows, horses, and pigs might wander away from their owners and end up on somebody else's property. When that happens, these animals are called "estray," which basically means they are lost or stray animals.

Now, it's important for people to keep their animals safe and make sure they don't wander away, but sometimes accidents happen, and that's where the law comes in. The law says that if somebody finds an estray animal on their property, they have to report it to the local authorities.

The authorities will then try to find the animal's owner by posting notices and asking around. If nobody comes forward to claim the animal, then it might be sold at auction, and the money would go to the local government.

So, estray animals are just lost animals that need to be taken care of and returned to their owners if possible. It's important to be responsible and keep your animals safe so they don't become estrays in the first place!
