ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

F-space

Okay, imagine you have a toy box full of all sorts of toys. Each toy has different colors, shapes, sizes, and materials. Now, let's say you want to organize all those toys in a specific way so you can find them easily whenever you want to play with any of them. You can decide to group them based on their colors, shapes, sizes, or materials.

F-space is a similar concept of organizing things, but instead of toys, we are working with mathematical equations. F-space is a space where mathematical functions live in an organized way. In this space, each equation has its own spot, just like each toy has its own spot in the toy box.

Just like in the toy box, we can choose to group the equations in the f-space based on specific characteristics. For example, we can group them based on how complicated they are, or how fast they change, or how much they change as we move through the space.

By organizing these equations in f-space, we can better understand how they work and how they are related to one another. We can also use this knowledge to solve more complex problems that involve multiple equations and variables.

So, in sum, f-space is a neat and organized way of keeping track of mathematical functions!
