Hellenocentrism

Hellenocentrism is when something gives more value to the culture, ideas, and beliefs of Ancient Greece. People around the world pay special attention to Ancient Greece because it was one of the oldest and most influential civilizations in history. Many of the things we learn in school like math, art, and literature have been influenced by things from Ancient Greece. We might say that Ancient Greece is seen as more important than other ancient civilizations.
