ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

HyperTalk

HyperTalk is a programming language used to create instructions (known as "scripts") for an application. This can be as simple as clicking a few buttons in an application to as complex as writing a computer program. It's used to make the application easier to use, and to make the application do more than just a few simple things. To use HyperTalk, you have to learn some special words and symbols so the computer can understand what you want it to do. Once you know the language, you can write scripts, which are like computer programs, that tell the application what to do.
