Internet Relay Chat

Internet relay chat (IRC) is a way for people to communicate over the internet. It allows individuals to type messages to one another and to join groups, or 'channels', to talk with other people who are also interested in the same topics. IRC is often used by gamers and computer programmers to discuss their hobbies or experiment with programming. It is also a great way to meet people from all over the world who share similar interests. To join IRC, you first need to install a special chat program. Then, you can pick a username to represent yourself, and join a chat room. From there, you can talk to other people and even join a group conversation.
