Monolith

A monolith is a very big thing that is made up of one single piece or part. So imagine you made a giant tower out of Lego pieces but instead of putting all the pieces together, you used only one big piece of Lego to build the tower. That's basically what a monolith is, a big piece that can't be taken apart easily. Often, the term "monolith" is used to describe a large rock or stone structure that was created without breaking it up into smaller pieces. People sometimes use the term "monolithic" to describe something that is very big and solid, like a building made of one large piece of concrete or a company that dominates an entire industry. So, a "monolith" is a giant thing made of one piece, and "monolithic" means that something is huge and solid, like a big rock or a strong company.
