ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

No instruction set computing

No instruction set computing (NISC) is a type of computing that doesn't use instructions. Instead of instructions, NISC computers use arrays of numbers, called "data" that tells them what to do. For example, the numbers might tell the computer to add two numbers together, or to divide one number by another. This type of computing is used to make computing simpler and faster. It can also help computers use less power and save energy.
