ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

One-way deck

Imagine you have a deck of cards. Now, let's say you take out one card and put it somewhere else. This one card is the only way to get back to where you started, but you can't go backwards. That's kind of like a one-way deck!

A one-way deck is a special kind of deck of cards, where all of the cards are arranged in a special order so you can only move in one direction. This means you can't go back to the beginning, like in a regular deck.

Basically, a one-way deck is a very specific set of cards that can only be used in one specific way. It's like when you build with Legos and you only have a certain number of pieces, so you have to follow the instructions very carefully.

So, if you have a one-way deck, you can only use it for certain things. You can't shuffle the cards or do a lot of the things you would normally do with a regular deck. But, it can be really fun to use a one-way deck to play a special game or do a cool magic trick!
