Opium in Iran

Opium is a type of drug that people can smoke, snort or inject into their body to make them feel happy or relaxed. In Iran, opium has been a part of the culture for a very long time. Opium comes from a plant that grows in some parts of the country. People collect the sticky juice from the plant and let it dry into hard pieces that look like rocks. This is what people use to make drugs.

For a long time, many Iranians have used opium as a medicine to help with pain or to feel better when they are sick. But some people started to use it just to feel good even when there was nothing wrong with them. This is not healthy and can be dangerous.

The Iranian government does not like people using opium just to feel good because it can cause addiction and serious health problems. They have made laws to try to stop people from using it. But sometimes people still use it secretly.

Even though the government does not want people using opium, it is still popular and many people are addicted to it. Some people in Iran make money selling opium to others who want to use it. But this is illegal and can get them in trouble with the police.

So in short, opium is a drug that many people use in Iran to feel good or to help with pain. It is not good for you and can be dangerous, but some people still use it anyway. The government does not like people using it and has tried to stop it, but it is still a problem.
