Pecked curvilinear nucleated is a style of pottery made by some Native American cultures in the past. This pottery is made by using a tool to peck (or chisel) tiny dots, circles, swirls and other shapes into wet clay. The clay is then fired in a kiln (like a really hot oven), and when it cools, the pottery is strong and curved. The dots, circles, swirls and other shapes along the edges of the pottery give it a unique look, so it is called 'curvilinear'. The fact that it was made by pecking (or chiseling) means it is called 'pecked curvilinear' and 'nucleated' means the decoration was worked around the whole pottery, so it looks kind of like it is growing out from the center.
