Pictograph

Hey kiddo, do you know what a pictograph is? Well, imagine you have a lot of toys that you want to sort out and keep track of. You decide to take a picture of each toy and make a chart to show how many there are of each type of toy. This chart you make is called a pictograph.

Basically, a pictograph uses pictures or symbols to represent numbers or data. It helps us understand information in a visual way that's easy to understand, especially if we don't know how to read or don't want to read a lot of words. For example, if you want to know how many people prefer different colors, you can draw pictures of colored pencils to represent the data in the chart.

So, pictographs help us to summarize information in a fun and easy way. Isn't that cool?
