Proof of delivery

Proof of delivery is when someone needs to show proof that they received something. Think of it like when you get a gift from your friend and your mom wants to make sure you really got it. In business, this is really important when companies deliver things like packages, food or important documents.

Imagine you ordered a toy for your friend's birthday, and it got delivered to your house. The person who delivered the toy might give you a paper or an email that says "I dropped off the toy at your house on this day and this time, and you signed for it." This paper or email is called a Proof of Delivery! It shows that you got the toy and it's been delivered to you.

It is important to have proof of delivery because if someone claims that they didn't receive something, companies can use the proof of delivery to show that the item was delivered and received by the person.
