ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

'Oro

Oro is a word in Spanish that means "gold." Gold is a very valuable metal that is shiny and yellow. People like to wear gold jewelry or use it to make decorations or even money.

Gold is found in the ground and people have been digging it up for thousands of years. Some countries, like South Africa and Australia, have a lot of gold mines. When people find gold in the ground, they have to dig it out and then separate it from any other rocks or dirt. They do this by crushing the rocks and then using special chemicals to separate the gold from everything else.

Once the gold is separated, people can sell it or use it to make things like jewelry. Gold is very expensive and many people like to have it because it makes them feel rich or important.

But even though gold is valuable, it's not the most important thing in the world. There are other things that are more important, like being kind to others, taking care of the planet, and spending time with the people you love.
