ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

1 Corinthians 14

Okay kiddo, so in 1 Corinthians 14, the Bible is talking about how people should act when they are in church and talking about God. The word "church" means a place where people go to worship God and learn about Him.

So in this chapter, the writer is saying that when people are speaking in church, they should try to help each other understand what is being said. This means they should speak clearly and not say things that are too hard to understand.

The writer also says that if someone is speaking in a language that others don't understand, it's not very helpful for the people listening. Instead, the person speaking should either explain what they are saying or stop speaking in that language.

Basically, the chapter is all about how people should act when they are worshipping God and talking about Him with other people. They should try to make it easy for everyone to understand and not make it confusing or difficult for others.
