The 10/90 gap is a way of looking at the amount of money that goes towards helping people in need around the world. Ten percent of the money we donate, usually to charities or organizations like the United Nations, goes towards actually helping people while the other 90% goes towards things like salaries, administrative costs, and other expenses. This means that only a small fraction of the money people give actually goes to helping those in need. This is called the 10/90 gap.
