1980s in television

In the 1980s, a lot of people watched TV shows. They used big boxes with screens and antennas on top to get the shows. Some shows were about families and their problems, like "The Cosby Show" and "Family Ties." Others were about people who solved crimes, like "Miami Vice" and "Magnum P.I." There were also cartoons like "The Smurfs" and "Transformers" that kids loved to watch. TV was a big part of people's lives in the 1980s, and many of the shows are still popular today.
