UNO is a popular card game where players try to get rid of all their cards by matching the number, color, or symbol on the card. To start the game, each player is dealt 7 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a stack in the middle of the players. The top card is flipped over and placed next to the stack. This is called the discard pile.
When it is your turn, you must take one of two actions: either pick up a card from the stack and add it to your hand, or play a card that matches the top card in the discard pile. A card on the discard pile must have the same number, color, or symbol as the card in your hand. When you play a card, put it on the discard pile and your turn is over.
If you don't have a card to play, you must pick up a card from the stack. If you can play the card you've picked up, you can do so—if not, your turn ends.
The game ends when a player has no cards left in their hand or if the stack of cards has run out. The player with the lowest number of cards left in their hand is the winner.
