Adjectives are describing words. They help us learn more about a person, place or thing. For example, instead of saying "the car" we can say "the red car" and now we know its color. Adjectives can tell us if something is big or small, happy or sad, colorful or plain. With adjectives, we can make sentences much more interesting and informative.
