ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

2+1 road

A 2+1 road is a type of road with three lanes. There are two lanes for cars to drive in one direction and one lane for cars to drive in the other direction. The two lanes for cars driving in one direction are separated by a barrier in the middle. This helps to keep the cars driving in different directions from crashing into each other.
