2010 West Memphis police shootings

In 2010, three police officers in West Memphis, Arkansas were shot and killed while they were investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle. The suspect who shot and killed the officers was in the vehicle and was arrested. He was later convicted of three counts of first degree murder, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
