2020 Royal Chapel of Milot fire
A long, long time ago, the kings and queens of a place called Haiti built a really special building called the Royal Chapel of Milot. This building was important because it was where the kings and queens would go to pray and talk to their gods.
But one day, something terrible happened. Something called a fire broke out in the Royal Chapel of Milot. Fire is very dangerous because it can make things very hot and burn things up.
The fire was so big that it burned down a lot of the important parts of the building. People were very sad because they loved the chapel and it was a special place for them.
But then, some really kind people decided they wanted to help rebuild the Royal Chapel of Milot. They raised money and got people to work together to make a new chapel, bigger and better than before.
Even though something bad happened to the Royal Chapel of Milot, the community came together and showed that they care about their history and traditions. And now, they have a new and improved chapel to continue that tradition.
