ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

4WS

OK, kiddo, 4WS stands for "Four Wheel Steering". You know how cars have steering wheels so you can turn them left and right? Well, usually only the front wheels turn when you steer the car. But with 4WS, all four wheels can turn left and right too!

So why do we want all four wheels to steer? It actually helps the car handle better and turn tighter. When only the front wheels turn, the back wheels keep going straight. But with 4WS, the back wheels can turn too, which means the car can turn even sharper and faster. Plus, it can help with things like parking and going around corners.

There are different kinds of 4WS systems, but they all work by using special parts and sensors to control how the wheels turn. Some cars do this automatically, and others let you choose when to use 4WS. But no matter how it works, the idea is to make the car easier and more fun to drive by giving it extra steering power!
