AIDS orphan

Okay kiddo, sometimes people can get sick with a very bad disease called AIDS. This illness is caused by a virus and can be very serious. Unfortunately, sometimes parents who have AIDS can't take care of their children because they are too sick or they die from the sickness. When a child's parents die from AIDS, that child is called an AIDS orphan. This means they don't have any parents to take care of them and they might go live with other family members or in orphanages. It's important to help kids who are AIDS orphans because they need love, care, and support just like all kids do.
