Abel Prize

Okay, so imagine you really like solving puzzles and math problems. And you're REALLY good at it, like a superstar. Well, there's a special prize for people who are amazing at math, and it's called the Abel Prize.

The Abel Prize is like a giant gold star that you get for being the best of the best in math. It's named after a really smart man named Niels Henrik Abel who was really good at math back in the olden days.

Each year, a group of super smart people who are also good at math pick someone who has done something really cool and important in math. It might be a big discovery or a really hard problem they solved.

The person who wins the Abel Prize gets to go to a fancy ceremony where they get a big shiny gold medal and a bunch of money. And everyone claps for them because they're so smart and amazing.

So basically, the Abel Prize is a way to say "Wow, you're really good at math and you did something super important. Here's a prize to show how much we appreciate it!"
