Abhiṣeka

Abhiṣeka is a really special ceremony in some religions where we pour water or some special liquid on a really important picture or statue of a god or goddess. It's like giving the picture or statue a super special bath. People believe that the liquid is blessed and helps the god or goddess feel even more powerful and happy. Uncle John says that when he was little, his grandma used to abhiṣeka his forehead with water before he went to school to make him feel blessed and protected. It's a really important and special way to show love and respect for the gods and goddesses in some religions.
