Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada

Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada is the group of grown-ups in charge of making sure that First Nations peoples and other aboriginal folks are treated fairly and get the help they need to be successful. They also are responsible for helping to create better living conditions in Canada's northern regions where it can get quite cold and tricky to grow and make things. They do this by trying to work with these groups of people to come up with solutions that work for everyone involved. They also try to make sure that everyone has the same opportunities to succeed, no matter where they are from or what their background is. Think of them like a really big team of helpers who want to make sure everyone is doing okay and has a chance to be happy and successful.
