Abraham Sinkov was a mathematician and cryptologist who designed some of the most important codes used in World War II. He was a master at cracking secret codes. He figured out ways for people to send messages to each other without anyone else being able to read what was being said. He also invented a machine that could read and decipher codes automatically, which made it easier for the Allied forces to crack enemy codes. He helped the Allied forces win the war by taking away the enemy's ability to keep secrets.
