Abraham Zacuto

Abraham Zacuto was a really smart man from a long time ago who lived in Portugal. He was good at math and science and used his brain to make some really cool inventions that helped people. He made a special kind of clock called the astrolabe that sailors used to help them figure out where they were when they were out sailing on the big ocean. He also wrote a book called the "Almanac Perpetuum" that had information about the stars and the planets so people could tell what day it was, when the seasons were going to change, and even when to plant crops. Abraham Zacuto was such a smart guy that people all over the world used his ideas and inventions for hundreds of years.
