Academic freedom in the Middle East

Academic freedom in the middle east means that people who work or study in universities and colleges have the right to say and research things that might not always be popular or agreed upon. Just like you might have freedom to ask questions and learn new things in school, people who work at universities should also be able to do the same. However, in some countries in the middle east, people are not always allowed to say or do what they want when it comes to studying and teaching. This can limit what they learn and what they can teach others. It's important that people in the middle east have the same academic freedom as others around the world so they can learn, grow and explore new ideas without fear.
