Accolade

An accolade is like a big hug or pat on the back that you get from someone who is proud of you. It's a way to show that you did a good job or accomplished something important. Just like when you do a good job drawing a picture and your parents give you a big hug, an accolade is a way of saying "You did something great! I'm proud of you!"
