Achiroe is a type of aquatic animal that lives in the ocean. It's called a tunicate or a sea squirt because it looks like a little bag or a tube.
Achiroe has a special way of getting its food. Inside its body, there are little hairs called cilia that move around and create a current. This current brings in tiny food particles like plankton, and they get trapped in a special filter that Achiroe has.
Achiroe also has a special way of protecting itself. When it senses danger, it can squirt out water from its body to push away any predators or to get rid of any unwanted things.
Next time you go to the beach, look out for little bags or tubes attached to rocks or other surfaces in the water. You might spot an Achiroe!
