Acts 6

So, in the book of Acts in the Bible, there was a problem where some people weren't getting enough food. So, the leaders of the church got together and decided to choose seven helpers to make sure everyone got the food they needed. One of these helpers was named Stephen and he became very important in the church. But some people didn't like what he was saying about Jesus and they got angry and ended up stoning him to death. This was a very sad event, but it also made the church stronger and more determined to spread the message of Jesus.
