Adam's Bridge is a strip of land that looks like a bridge that connects India to Sri Lanka. It's also called Rama Setu, which means Rama's Bridge. Legend says that the bridge was built by Lord Rama and his army so that they could cross from India to Sri Lanka.
Although some people believe this legend, scientists have another explanation. They say that Adam's Bridge was created by natural events, like tides, currents, and waves. A long time ago, the sea level was lower than it is now, and the strip of land was exposed.
Over time, sand and sediments were deposited and allowed the land to connect India and Sri Lanka. As the sea level rose, the strip of land became submerged except for the areas where sand and sediments had accumulated.
Now, the remaining parts of Adam's Bridge are a series of sandbanks, shallow water, and islands. Even though it looks like a bridge, it's not made of concrete or steel, it's a natural formation that has been shaped by the forces of nature.
