Adhesive bandage

An adhesive bandage is a small strip of special tape that we put on our skin to cover a cut or a wound. It's like a little superhero that helps protect our skin from germs and dirt.

The bandage has two main parts: the sticky part (which sticks to our skin) and the pad part (which covers the wound). When we get a cut or a scrape, our body tries to heal itself by sending special little helpers called germs-fighters and white blood cells to the wound. But, we need to help our body too!

So, we start by cleaning the cut with some water and soap. Then, we dry it with a soft towel. After that, we put the adhesive bandage on top of it. The sticky part helps keep the bandage on our skin, and the pad part keeps the wound safe and clean.

We should be careful not to touch the pad part, so no germs go on it. And, we need to change the bandage every day to make sure our wound is healing well.

Overall, the adhesive bandage is like a little helper that we can use when our skin needs some extra protection and help to heal.
