Adverse vaccine event

When we get vaccines to protect us from diseases, sometimes our bodies may not like it and may feel uncomfortable or get sick right after the vaccine. We call this an adverse vaccine event. It's like when you eat something and your tummy hurts or you get a headache, but instead of food, it's from a vaccine. Sometimes this can happen because our body is learning how to fight a new disease and sometimes it's just a small reaction that goes away quickly. But don't worry too much, most people don't have any problems with vaccines and they do a great job in keeping us healthy.
