Aerial perspective

Aerial perspective is when the landscape looks differently depending on how high up you are. For example, when you look out of an airplane window at the ground far below you, things look a lot smaller and blurry. That's because the air between you and the ground spreads out the light and makes things look farther away. So, the higher you are, the more the light gets spread out, and the farther away things look.
