ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Aerobatics (radio-controlled aircraft)

Aerobatics is a kind of flying that involves doing fun, fancy tricks with an airplane or helicopter.

When people fly radio-controlled airplanes, they do different kinds of tricks that make the plane twist, turn, and spin in the air. They might fly it upside down, straight up into the sky, or even make it do a loop-de-loop.

To do these tricks, they need to use different types of controls on a remote control. Think of it like a video game controller, but for a plane! They can make the plane move up and down, left and right, and even backwards and forwards. This makes the plane do all sorts of really cool things!

Aerobatics can be a lot of fun, but it takes a lot of practice and skill to get good at it. Some people even compete with their radio-controlled planes to see who can do the best tricks! But whether you're doing it for fun or competing, the most important thing is to be safe and have fun while flying.
