African Medicines Agency

Okay kiddo, so there's something called the African Medicines Agency (AMA). That's a group of people who are working together to make sure that people in Africa have access to safe and effective medicines - that means medicines that will help make them feel better when they're sick, but won't make them sicker or hurt them in any way.

The AMA is kind of like a grown-up's version of your parents making sure you're eating healthy food and taking your vitamins. They're making sure that the medicines people take are also good for them.

The people in the AMA do lots of important things to make sure medicines are safe. For example, they test the medicines to make sure they work like they're supposed to, and that they won’t have any bad side effects.

The AMA also makes sure that all the medicines that are available in Africa are made in a clean and safe way, so that people can trust them.

So, in summary, the African Medicines Agency is a group of grown-ups who are making sure that the medicines people use in Africa are safe and effective, so that people can stay healthy and feel better when they're sick.
