Afrikaner

Okay kiddo, so an Afrikaner is someone who comes from a country in Africa called South Africa. People who are Afrikaners are descendants of Dutch, German, and French people who lived in South Africa a long time ago. This means that they have roots in Europe, but now they call Africa their home. They have their own language called Afrikaans which they speak and many of them are farmers. But, some Afrikaners have done some not very nice things in the past like treating people who weren't like them very badly. We should always be kind to everyone, no matter where they come from or what they look like.
