Afro-Cubans

Afro-Cubans are people who are part of the Cuban population who have African ancestry. This means that their ancestors came from African countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, and Senegal. They have retained the traditions of their African roots, such as music, dance, and art. They are an important part of Cuban culture, and make up about a third of the population.
