ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Agabus

Agabus is a type of insect called a water beetle. They're called water beetles because they spend most of their time living in water, like lakes, ponds, and streams. They're really good at swimming and can even breathe underwater. They have long antennae on their head, which they use like a GPS to find their way around and locate things they want to eat. Agabus beetles love to eat other bugs and tiny creatures that live in the water. They have a hard outer shell on their body, kind of like armor, to protect themselves from predators. Agabus beetles are important because they help keep the water clean by eating things like mosquito larvae and other bugs that can make people or animals sick if they're in the water.
