Age of Consent Act, 1891

The Age of Consent Act is a law that says that a person must be a certain age to have sex. It was made in 1891, a long time ago when things were very different than they are today. The law was made to protect young people, especially girls, from being taken advantage of by older people who might want to have sex with them.

The law says that a person must be at least 16 years old to have sex. That means if you are 15 years old, you are not allowed to have sex with someone older than you. It doesn't matter if you want to or if they want to - it's against the law.

The Age of Consent Act helps to make sure that young people are not forced into having sex before they are ready. It also makes sure that older people can't take advantage of young people and use them for their own pleasure.

So remember, the Age of Consent Act is an important law that helps to keep young people safe. If you are not at least 16 years old, you are not allowed to have sex!
