Agent of record

An agent of record is a person or group who can take care of some of your important papers for you. It's like having a very trustworthy friend who can be in charge of certain things for you, so you don't have to worry about them.

Let's say you have a really important piece of paper, like a contract. You want to make sure it gets to the right people and gets signed correctly. So, instead of doing it yourself, you might hire an agent of record.

This person is like a helper who takes care of the paper for you. They can make sure it's delivered to the right people and that the signatures are correct. They might even be able to help you understand the paper and answer any questions you have about it.

The agent of record is usually someone you trust a lot, like a lawyer or an insurance agent. They have to be someone who will keep your information safe and private.

Overall, an agent of record is just someone you can rely on to help you with important papers so you don't have to worry about them yourself.
