Ahlspiess

Have you ever seen a really long and pointy stick with a sharp edge at the end? Well, that's called an ahlspiess! It's like a spear, but it has a shorter handle and a bigger pointy end. Long ago, people used ahlspiesses to fight in battles and protect themselves. The sharp end would pierce through armor or clothes and hurt the enemy. Today, people don't really use ahlspiesses anymore because we have newer and better weapons. But it's still interesting to learn about how people used to fight in the past!
