Air Force Global Strike Command

Air Force Global Strike Command is a branch of the U.S. Air Force that is responsible for the safeguarding, preparation, and use of the service's nuclear forces. This includes nuclear bombers, intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), and nuclear missile submarines. The Air Force Global Strike Command also works to make sure that America's nuclear capabilities are up-to-date and remain an effective deterrent against other nations or groups that may threaten the United States.
