Airy mean time

Airy Mean Time is a way of measuring time that helps us keep track of where the sun is in the sky. Every day, the sun appears to move across the sky, rising in the morning and setting in the evening. We can measure this movement using a special clock called a sundial.

Airy Mean Time is a bit different than regular time because it takes into account the way the Earth moves around the sun. It gets its name from a famous mathematician and astronomer named Sir George Airy.
