Al Campanis

Al Campanis was a man who worked in baseball a long time ago. He was really good at his job and worked with a lot of famous players. But, one day on TV, Al said some really hurtful things about black people. He said they weren't "really ready" to be managers or general managers in baseball. This was not a good thing to say, and a lot of people were angry and upset. Al lost his job because of what he said. It's important to be kind and respectful to everyone, no matter what they look like or where they come from.
